A print made in honor of Lance Lawrence, a US Marine machine gunner who was killed in action while serving with a volunteer unit in Ukraine. Lance was known as the "Machine Gunner's Machine Gunner". His best friend Eric reached out to me with the idea of a machine gun enjoying a cigarette while camping in the woods.
All profits from sales of this drawing are donated to The Weatherman Foundation, the organization that brought Lance's body home to the US and provided support to his family.
This is a high-res scan I took of my sketchbook - This particular file is 14999 × 14794 px, meaning it can be printed as big as 127cm x 127cm at 300 DPI, which is the recommended quality for prints.
Why do I sell a download file instead of a physical print?
The main reason is to make it cheaper for you guys by getting rid of shipping. You can print this file at your local print shop (Staples & Walmart both have easy online services) at the exact size you're looking for. It's what I do whenever I'm decorating a new place, usually with print files I buy off Etsy. Also, no delivery-timeline stress if you're buying this as a gift.
A JPEG file also gives you the ability to print, paint, etch, burn etc. these designs onto any surface you want, and I genuinely can't wait to see where it ends up. Art's meant to be a shared experience.
I'll still be occasionally dropping limited-run signed prints, so keep an eye out if that's of interest.
Looking to get multiple prints?
Check out the Download Bundles page for some beautiful bulk savings.
Note: You do NOT have to buy the high-res file to get it tattooed or use it as a phone background etc. Just screenshot it, all good with me.
